ACMin Newsletter - December 2012

Looking Back at 2012

ACMin opened its doors to students in January 2012 with the first Lifelong Ministry course, a prayer ministry training. We also began admitting degree-seeking students and hiring expert faculty to teach at the college.  We moved into our beautiful office in July 2012 with much appreciation to our faithful brothers and sisters from Watkinsville First United Methodist Church for making the space available to our ministry. In August, the first cohort of degree students arrived for fall semester and succeeded in courses ranging from Old Testament and Hebrew to Foundations of Faith and Prayer & Spiritual Direction. All told, ACMin ministered to nearly 250 students from dozens of churches and 5 different states. The Board of Trustees would like to extend heartfelt appreciation to each of you who supported the college with your gifts, your time, and your prayers.   Thank you, everyone, for your part in an exceedingly wonderful beginning. For all things, we worship God and give Him the glory for every success!

Year-end Charitable Giving

Again, we are so thankful for everyone whose hearts have been moved to support ACMin since its foundation. As we move forward towards the fulfillment of the mission and vision that God has called us to, there are many needs: student scholarships, staff support, program development, and a future permanent facilty from which we can operate the ministry centers where ACMin students will apprentice and from which we can minister to the needs of our community and beyond.  We hope that you will prayerfully consider supporting the college as you close out your charitable giving for 2012.
