Serving in Christ's Love

Get ready for ServeAthens ICN on Saturday, April 27th!  The Athens College of Ministry is pleased to announce the first annual ServeAthens ICN event hosted at the Athens YMCA.  We are excited to bring together teams from churches across the area to serve in Christ's name through our local community service agencies for one purpose- to share Christ's love with others.  We need YOU to help us make this day of service like none other! You can serve with your hands on a work team, with your feet during the 5K Run / Walk, and with your hearts always. Learn more! Get involved!  See ServeAthens ICN for complete details.

ACMin Prayer Ministry Center Opened January 15th to Serve You. Are you strugglng with a heavy, fearful, or frustrated heart?  ACMin offers free Prayer Ministry sessions by teams of veteran Prayer Ministers who consider it a privilege to serve you in love through the stuff of life that can get in the way of your freedom in Christ. We encourage you to learn more about Prayer Ministry, to request an appointment, or to recommend the Prayer Ministry Center to a friend in need.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms,” (1  Peter 4:10)

Expanding the ACMin Team

ACMin is pleased to welcome Matt Noxsel on staff as the college's Administrative Assistant.  Matt is currently a senior at UGA majoring in English.  He is a member of The Awakening and has already been faithfully serving on ACMin's Prayer Ministry and Agricultural Ministry teams.  Matt will work part-time until his graduation and join us full-time in mid-May.  He and is new bride, Lauren, reside in Athens.  You can reach Matt at: mnoxsel.asmwa@gmail.com.

We are also blessed to welcome Martha Kimbrell to the team as the Accounting Manager.  Martha joined us in late 2012 and will be working part-time to ensure that all of our financial business matters are cared for with the integrity worthy of Christ.  Martha is a member of Beech Haven Baptist Church, a veteran Prayer Minister, and brings both years and a wealth of accounting expertise to our team.

ACMin is seeking to fill other open positions. Click here for details. Thank you for helping us to find the perfect additions to our ministry by spreading the word about these opportunities and with your prayers.
