Grand Opening Held November 6th

The Athens College of Ministry held its Grand Opening on Sunday, November 6th in Grace Hall.  Founding Board members, Mr. Jon Messarra and Dr. Marcia Wilbur shared the school's mission and vision.  A strong turnout of community supporters toured the facilities and learned about degree and non-degree programs from future instructors Mr. Clay Kirkland and Dr. Ross Johns.  Mr. Charlie Maddox, a great ACMin champion, encouraged participants to pray for the college, to consider enrolling in courses for their own spiritual formation, and to support the building of a scholarship fund for future students. The Board of Trustees would like to express their sincerest appreciation to the many volunteers who assisted with the event, to the membership of Watkinsville First United Methodist Church for the use of the facilities, to Chick-fil-A for the generous donation of snacks, and especially to all of the supporters who attended. Your gift can make all the difference for a student in need and in turn for those whom ACMin students will serve in Christ's name. Please help support Christ-centered Kingdom transformation and the individual students who are called to serve as His hands and feet.  Gifts to ACMin are tax deductible. Click here for online giving. Thank you for your support!
