Share the Vision! Dinner Held October 11th

The Athens College of Ministry would like to thank Mr. Regi Campbell (left), head of Seedsower Investments and Radical Mentoring, for blessing our evening with his keynote address entiltled, "Zone or Man-to-man?"  Regi encouraged everyone to make intentional efforts to engage in one-on-one relationships with individuals for the purpose of fostering personal spiritual development and growth. Christine Wyrtzen graced the evening with wonderful praise and worship music, and two ACMin students, Troy Jones and Dara Balinski, shared their testimonies about their experiences studying at the college in answer to God's call on their lives. (Click on their names to view their stories.) The goals of the dinner were to fellowship with other believers and be encouraged in our faith, to collaborate with the ACMin mission and vision, and to begin the development of the ACMin scholarship fund.  Participants collectively pledged and donated $5000 to launch the scholarship program. The ACMin Board of Trustees would like to sincerely thank our guests for the kindness of their generosity, and to extend a special word of appreciation to Mark Weeks of Mirko Pasta for providing a delicious dinner, as well as to several members of The Awakening and Chestnut Grove Baptist Church for helping set up and serve the meal. Enjoy the Photo Gallery of the event!

We hope that you will prayerfully consider supporting the ACMin student scholarship fund with your gifts.  The development of a robust scholarship program will ensure that all students who are called to prepare for Kingdom service have the opportunity to do so. Your gift can make all the difference for a student in need and in turn for the individuals whom ACMin students will serve in Christ's name. Gifts to ACMin are tax deductible. Click here for online giving or mail your dontation to P.O. Box 7953, Athens, GA, 30604. Thank you for your support!

ACMin Participates in Chili Cook-off

Many thanks to Phil and Jessie Goodwin for scooping the ACMin chili at Covenant Care Adoption Service's chili cook-off held October 6th at Mars Hill Baptist Church.  The cook-off was a  fundraiser for  Covenant Care. Several area organizations, including ACMin, entered the competition for fun and fellowship, and most importantly, to serve others.

With Appreciation to the Potter's House

AM&WA is deeply grateful to the Potter's House, an arm of the Atlanta Mission, for their gift to ACMin of a much needed 16' boardroom-style table for our office.  We are so thankful to the Lord for His gracious provision!  A special word of appreciation goes out to Jason, Justin, and Lance (left to right) for their hard work to deliver and assemble the magnificent table.  Thank you!
