Invest in Tomorrow...Today

One of our ministry supporters recently spoke about the moment she heard about the Athens College of Ministry, and our vision to equip ministry leaders to exalt Christ and serve effectively in the world. "I knew that my former plans, to travel and study abroad during my retirement, were to be put on hold indefinitely as soon as I began to understand what God was up to at the ACMin. Now, it is my delight to financially support the work of the college, knowing that it is an investment in eternity." Another supporter stated, "What you are doing here at ACMin is a breath of fresh air!  Our Christian community in Athens needs what you are teaching!" Won't you consider a monthly pledge of support, or a generous one-time donation toward the ACMin Scholarship Fund, staff support, or to help the college expand its horizons? Now with three ways to give (check via mail, online payment, or EFT - Electronic Fund Transfer), you can begin the partnership journey with us as we build lives and advance God's Kingdom. Serving to LOVE, loving to SERVE. Click here for more information on how to support the college and its programs or call 706.769.1472.

Welcome Michelle Evans!

Hi there! My name is Michelle Evans, the new Director of Community Partnerships at ACMin, and I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and tell you how I’ll be plugging into what God’s doing here at the college. Originally from Athens, I graduated from North Greenville University with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies, and recently graduated from UGA with an M.A. in Spanish Linguistics. The Lord has given me a heart for people, and specifically a passion for the Hispanic culture and community. I have always believed that one of the best ways to share Jesus with people is to love them practically, and that’s exactly what attracted me to ACMin. The fact that I get to work for an institution whose goal is to teach their students how to use their heads and hearts to be His hands and feet is a blessing far beyond what I ever could have imagined for myself. Here at ACMin, I will be responsible for connecting the college to the greater Athens community through student apprenticeships and our annual day of service, as well as overseeing the college’s ongoing community service efforts. I’m excited to see how God grows and continues to deepen my faith in Him through this experience, and I can’t wait to see how He chooses to use ACMin to make His name known in our community. To Him be all the glory.

Thank You, Founding Trustees

The ACMin Board of Trustees was founded in fall of 2009.  Among the founding Trustees were Jon Messarra, Director of S.W.A.T. Ministries, and John Arnold, Director of Partner Relations at The Wellspring Group.  Jon and John completed their terms of office in June and July 2013, respectively. The entire Board of Trustees would like to thank these two faithful servants for the many hours of plowing and planting that they accomplished during their four years of service to our Lord through the college.
